Tom Doyle tells us a bit about how he took these two shots:
This shot of the Moodna trestle in Mountainville was taken early Saturday morning from a place down in the valley.
The dam shot was taken late Sunday evening on Black Rock Creek. The cloudy weather provided very diffuse though limited light (no contrast to deal with). The low light and the polarizing filter (to cut glare on the water) with a small aperture made a 20 second exposure necessary.
