To the Editor:
Having been a part of Cornwall for my whole life, this was a very difficult decision to make. Becoming an Athletic Director has been a goal of mine for a couple of years now. While I will miss all of my friends and colleagues, teaching physical education, coaching, announcing and all the other odd jobs I have had over the years here in Cornwall, this is a great opportunity for me professionally.
I would like to wish all the students of the Cornwall Central School District, especially all those I have had the privilege of teaching, much success and happiness in the years to come. Please know that you are getting an education in one of the most respected school districts in the state. Our teachers, staff and administration work very hard for you and I know I leave you in great hands.
To all the athletes that I have had the honor of coaching and rooting for; announcing your names and watching you succeed has truly been the most memorable part of my time here. Please know that you are coached by the most dedicated professionals that I know. Cornwall athletics is one of the most successful programs in the country because of YOUR integrity, dedication and sportsmanship. I am confident that when you leave Cornwall as an athlete, you are prepared for any challenge you may face in your life. Cherish your time here and be proud of what you represent.
To the parents of Cornwall, Thank You for all of your support throughout my years here. Thank you for allowing me to teach and coach your children. I want to especially Thank You for your dedication to your children's education here in Cornwall.
Finally, I would like to thank all of my friends and colleagues. Please know that ALL the connections I have made in Cornwall have helped to mold me into the person I am today.
With that, I would like to remind everyone to "STAY on board and CONTINUE to enjoy the ride, because there's just no stopping our Green Dragon Pride!"

Coach, you will be missed and I think your blood will still run GREEN in the Rondout Valley. I will always remember your help when I was the School Resource Officer at Cornwall High School and DARE Officer at the Middle School. I remember Lee Rd School in the gym with CHILD ABDUCTION PREVENTION Skills course, teaching the kids...and...there you were. Always helpful! You will be missed....best wishes and God Speed.
