Jim Lawless was aboard his sailboat Spinache on the Hudson River on Saturday, August 13 when he saw a police operation on the east shore.
Lawless says that he saw the Putnam County sheriffs boats just south of Breakneck Ridge and he observed that were patrolling and apparently dragging the water to find the body of a missing man.
He took these photos and forwarded them to the website the other day.
