Kenny Bates has been enjoying the beauty of summer, judging by the photos he has been taken in lovely, secluded spots in the area.
His first photo is Lilypad Pond, which he describes as "just a quiet summer afternoon at a secluded local pond."
He took the photo of the great egret as it stalked some small fish in a local wetland.
The photo of the four-point buck was taken as it grazed amid the sculptures at Cornwall Landing. Bates asks, "Why would anyone want to harm such a beautiful gentle animal?"
Finally, Bates reports that the turtle in the fourth photo was about the size of a basketball and says he found it in a local pond.
