Lions Wreath & Rope Fundraising.

The Cornwall Lion's Club will be holding its annual Holiday Wreath Sales this weekend on both Saturday and Sunday between the hours of 10AM &4PM and December 14th, on the northeast corner of Main and Bridge Streets in front on Clark & Associates.

Lions Club members will be selling their wreaths at the corner the following days from 10AM to 4PM:
December 7 & 8 (Saturday-Sunday)
December 14 (Saturday)
COME OUT AND SUPPORT ALL THE GOOD WORKS OF THE LIONS!!

Other News:

Cornwall Lions Club formally inducted 2 new members at their recent meeting: Anna Irizarry, sponsored by Kenn Brodmerkel and Neal Miller, sponsored by Brendan Coyne.

Based upon the Board of Directors recommendations, the membership voted in the affirmative to donate $500 to the 2013 Independence Day Committee and $1000 to LCIF for the Philippine Islands relief. The BoDs approved a donation of $250 for Habitat for Humanity, to complete a pledge of $500.

WE WON! WE WON! Well, actually our club's entry, by Jonathan Gagnon, a Cornwall middle schooler won for District 20O. Next stop - judging at the Lions NYS Convention! On December 12, at the Cornwall Library, at 6 PM, there will be a reception for the entrants. You're invited!! Many thanks to chair Jeff Knight, ably assisted by Bill Geiser.

Honorary Lion Jackie Gaillard made her final report on the Lions Fall Harvest Race, noting that the club will donate $5000 to Guiding Eyes for the Blind.
