Cornwall's all volunteer "Independence Day Committee" met Wednesday, April 3rd, in the COVAC (Cornwall Volunteer Ambulance Corps) building, to begin to prepare for the 2013 traditionalJuly 4th festivities and fireworks display.

The Committee is actively seeking both sponsors and advertisers for the event Journal, community volunteers to assist with the many and varied aspects of the multi-faceted July 4th 2013celebration, and vendors. Next meeting of the Independence Day Committee will be held on Wednesday, May 1, 7:30pm at the COVAC building, located at the corner of Clinton Street and Hasbrouck Avenue, just off the traffic circle.
