Several developmentally disabled adult clients of Orange AHRC's "Community Builders Program", in cooperation with site sponsor '2 Alices Coffee Lounge' of Cornwall, held the "The Second Annual Real Art Group Show - Meet the Artists Opening" reception today, Wednesday, 12/19/12, between the hours of 11AM and 2PM at 2 Alices Coffee Lounge in the heart of Cornwall-on-Hudson at 311 Hudson Avenue, a local "hot spot" and Internet cafe.

The Opening event meet and greet was free to the public. AHRC client artwork will be on display through mid-February and all are invited to come in for a view.

AHRC artists were under the direction and supervision of both Elizabeth Avila, (AHRC Art Instructor) and Ast. Director Orange AHRC and Community Builder Program Coordinator Veronica DePolito who introduced all the individual artists.

2 Alices Mickey Jackson provided all of the AHRC artists with free coffee and soda and light snacks, and everyone in attendance. Both artists and those who were viewing the artist's works enjoyed a wonderful time. Several visitors were so impressed with the uniqueness, and overall quality of the artwork that many an offer was tendered to purchase the pieces, but sale of any of the works did not conform to AHRC's student policy, and thus visitors simply enjoyed all the great pieces and conversation with all of the artists showing.
