Storm King Engine Company #2 held a funeral procession for volunteer firefighter Bob Quillin, a member of the firehouse for over 50 years who was laid to rest Saturday morning, December 15, 2012. The firefighters honored Quillin with a procession through the village, an honor guard and a sounding of the alarm.
Bob joined SKFE in 1957, served as President of the company in 1960 and was also a Trustee for many years. He held the position of “Master Mechanic” for the department and was climbing up to work on the machines up until the day before he died. Bob was recognized by the company as a life member.
