In June , I asked my daughter Julia to consider forming a team for the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer 5k walk in October at Woodbury Commons. She has two "Aunt Mary's " who have been diagnosed
with Breast Cancer, and this could be her way of showing them how much she loved them and could raise money to help in the fight to end Breast Cancer. Unfortunately, one of her Aunt's battle for 8 years ended in July.
At a get together this summer, she asked her friends Sam Incognoli, Erin Dempsey, Maddie McGuire, Emily Dolan, Sydney Jurgens, McKenzi Moreau, Amelia Harding, Sydney Natkiel, Hanna Cast, Monica Morossi to join. This summer many of them volunteered with her at the American Cancer Society in New Windsor, earning community service hours. They help put together booklets and information for the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Kickoff Breakfast that was held in August. They attended the breakfast and were motivated to raise money for their team. Selecting a team name was easy, they were all dragon modified athletes and fans and why not a Pink Dragon. Selling Tee shirts and holding a car-wash was the plan.
The girls have sold over 260 Pink Dragon tee shirts and raised over $500 this past weekend, October 6 at the car wash. The girls also added a few friends to their team who will join them for the Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk at Woodbury Commons, October 21, 2012.

and what about a girl's t-shirt o tank top model ?
