General News: Cornwall Dog Park Update

The votes are in for the Cornwall dog park name and the public overwhelmingly chose "The Cornwall Bark Park". Eight individuals who submitted that entry will each be invited to the opening ceremony on Sunday, July 29 and will receive a gift card to Prima Pizza. Many people voted via Facebook and the website. Details about the grand opening will be on both Facebook and the web, in addition to being posted here next week. "The park is really beginning to shape up and the fence is being installed next week. If you get a chance you should stop by and see the work that has been done" said committee member Eileen Hartmann, proprietor of the Cromwell Manor across the street from the Cornwall Bark Park. The committee is still soliciting donations for the fence and the ongoing maintenance of the park. Please donate via PayPal on the website Cornwallnydogpark.com or on facebook donation page.
