General News: Presbyterian Children Collect Food Donations

The youth at the Cornwall Presbyterian Church, Cornwall-on-Hudson promoted the Souper Bowl of Caring program by presenting a Minute for Hunger during each Sunday worship service throughout the month of January.
By February 5th the chidlren's efforts resulted in a collection of more than 60 cans of food and $324. The donations go to the Hudson Valley Food Bank, which distributes food to local soup kitchens, food pantries, and emergency shelters.
