General News: Book Tribute to Dogs That Read

Nearly 50 people attended the FURacious Readers book reception at Cornwall public library last Friday when Milo and Elvis – the two trained canines who read with children at the library – and their handlers, Janine Bixler and Sunny Krom, presented the library with a beautiful hard-bound book containing letters written by Cornwall patrons to the dogs. The book also features pictures of some of the one-on-one reading sessions.
This special book is now available for browsing at the library’s Children’s Desk. Milo and Elvis will be at the library on certain Friday afternoons. Please call the library for specific dates and times, at 534-8282.
