General News: There Was Frost on the Pumpkin This Morning

The temperature hit a low of 32 degrees at 5 a.m. this morning at Stewart Airport and hovered near there well after sunrise.
A layer of frost blanketed Cornwall-on-Hudson and village residents could be seen warming up their cars before leaving in the morning and wearing parkas to run out to pick up the morning paper.
Is it possible that summer ended only 25 days ago?
