General News: Storm Brings Hail to Cornwall

A strong thunderstorm swept through Cornwall shortly after 2:30 p.m. on Monday. Similar storms have been rumbling through the area since Sunday.
This storm, which led to the National Weather Service sending out an alert to local municipalities, brought hail and lightening to the greater Cornwall area.
At Cornwall High School, off Route 94 in New Windsor, a student gathered up a handful of the hail and took a photo, which is posted here.
