The game was played in very unseasonable heat with the field drenched in sun, however that did not slow down the action inside the chalk. Lexi West and Micah Wojehowski were outstanding in goal making numerous saves and setting up excellent offensive position with their booming punts. Each kick would dramatically change field position putting the local team on the attack. The Cornwall Cyclones lost to Wappingers 3-0. Rose Foody had a remarkable game in the backfield, with dozens of steals and untouchable ball handling.  Jackie Masterson played an excellent game at midfield combining powerful drives and deft moves to advance the ball.  Keepers Siobhan Lyons and Laurel Schuster had many saves, and played well on the field also.  Co-Captain Samantha Fowler fired off shot after shot, but the Wappingers defense withstood her relentless attacks.

BU8
The Under-8 Cobras continued their streak of keeping opponents scoreless after beating Hyde Park 1-0 on Saturday and Pawling 6-0 on Sunday. Joseph Maddalena had the game winner Saturday and the entire team was involved in each of the 6 goals scored Sunday. The players continue to develop their footskills and individual attacking styles while maintaining the tightest defense in the league. Next up for the Cobras is Lagrange.

BU13
The Storm maintained control of the first half but eventually lost their match to the Hyde Park Bobcats.  Striker Davis Fleming kept the ball moving forward and showed excellent ball control.  Great defensive support from Michael Vecchio.
