General News: Duo Arrested on Burglary Charges

Cornwall police arrested two men after one was spotted climbing into the window of a residence on Firth Street, then carrying items of out it on the afternoon of July 14.
Acting on an eyewitness tip, police arrived at the residence where they located Joseph Barba, of Schenectady, N.Y., and James Boykin, of Firth Street in Cornwall, standing next to a vehicle. Police say the two men were found with a digital camera, video camera, and Sony Playstation 2.
The pair was charged with burglary in the second degree, a class C felony, petty larceny, a class A misdemeanor, and criminal possession of stolen property, a class A misdemeanor.
Both men were sent to Orange County jail in lieu of bail, which was set at $30,000 for Boykin and $25,000 for Barba.

This was my home!! Such a lovely neighborhood, and my landlord let some bad apples in! I am so thankful to my good neighbor across the street who spotted the incident as my roommate and I had not been home.
I will surely pay it forward.

When I lived in Jersey, neighborhood thugs cleaned out my apartment during the day and nobody called the cops. Luckliy the cops found the idiots selling my stuff out of the girlfriends car and I got most of it back.They went to jail and the girlfriends car was impounded. Warning: don't make it easy for crooks to take your stuff and invade your home. And get to know your GOOD neighbors!
