This giant tent will provide shelter from the sun |

The weather forecast for Saturday is sunny with a chance of showers, and that’s got River-fest organizer Wynn Gold happy.
Celebrating its tenth anniversary this year, the festival on Cornwall’s waterfront has a reputation for attracting rain, even though Gold says that is not an accurate reflection of reality. “We’ve had three really beautiful days, three really lousy days, and three kind of iffy days,” Gold says, recounting the last nine festivals.
This year a record number of vendors selling food, gifts, or promoting non-profit enterprises have signed up to be part of Riverfest. The musical lineup promises afternoon of music sure to entertain.
And, as Wynn Gold says, even if a few raindrops fall, they have a huge tent for the first time where everyone can gather to listen to the music and continue to enjoy the day.

We had a great day. Nice weather and relaxed time. Went out on the Kayaks for a demo ride, registered to be a member at the Cornwall Historical society and bought some jewelery. Only advise I have is start the buses early. We waited until 11:30 to get a shuttle to the landing. Too hot to wait. Good news it wasn't raining.
