The combo played at the Newburgh Historical Societ

The Cornwall Central Middle School Jazz Combo played an afternoon concert on Sunday at the Newburgh Historical Society in a performance called “Jazz on the Lawn.”
The combo, under the direction of band leader Steve Kessler, played a variety of music from ballads such as My Funny Valentine, to swing pieces such as Satin Doll and rock pieces like Pick up the Pieces.
You can see the jazz combo at upcoming concerts at Barnes and Noble on June 5 and the Cornwall-on-Hudson Bandstand on June 19. They will also be performing during the summer at other locations - including a night at 2 Alices Coffee Lounge.
