Samantha Incognoli, Monika Morasse, Hannah Cast, and Morgan VanLedtje played great defense, keeping the score manageable, while Briana Wallace, Olivia Davet, Sydney Jurgens & Taylor Filippone tried to mount counter attacks.

U10 GIRLS
Mahopac scored a late second half goal to beat the Cheetahs by a score of 3-2. The Wildcats were leading 2-0 when Jillian Decker scored on a breakaway for the Cheetahs. Micah Wojehowski tied the game with an amazing kick from the midfield line that soared over the opposing goalies head and into the net. Jillian Larson and Lilian Poling played outstanding in goal. Kaitlyn Preiss, Sam Nelbach, Lauren Pinkham and Jess Dwyer helped create the Cheetahs offensive opportunities, while Katarina VanLedtje, Ava Carter, Leanne Casey, Maddy Lander and Emma Sabini controlled the defensive end of the field.

U10 BOYS
The Boys U10 Rovers edged the Mahopac Warpath 1 to 0 .The only goal of the game came in the second half when Aleks Rosenbaum took the ball down the left side of the field beating a defender and crossing the ball to an open Salatiel Carino who one timed the ball into the back of the net. David Schuyler had a tremendous game in the goal, making a couple of incredible saves to preserve the win. David Brubacher, Michael McLaughlin and Raffaele Aversa kept Mahopac’s offense honest. Tough defensive play by Kieran McVan, Ian Anderson, Karl Poling and Aiden O’Keefe.

U11 GIRLS
In a tough, very physical game, the Predators were defeated by the Wallkill Ridgerunners 4-2. The Cornwall girls outplayed their opponents and held possession of the ball for 65% of the match with precise passing, a commanding midfield, and a pressing offense. Erin Leahy and Fiona Durkin controlled the midfield and both contributed with assists. Mary Gallo and Erin Geraghty scored the Predators goals with shots outside the box. The defensive trio of Mariah Hernandez, Kelly Moran, and Johanna Caufaglione were solid frustrating the opponent’s offense. Elissa Pean came off the bench and had a great game in numerous positions.

12 GIRLS-Dragon Claws
The GU-12 Dragon Claws played a fierce contest on Mother's Day holding the Highland Comets to a 0-0 tie. Cornwall's impervious defense, which has let up only one goal all season, continues to frustrate opponents. Olivia Tellefsen had a stellar game, controlling loose balls and playing with intensity. Kelsey Fosstveit was a force to be reckoned with at midfield. Another defensive stand out was Jacqueline Hogan, who challenged the Highland offense repeatedly. Overall, Cornwall played an excellent game, keeping the intensity of play very high and effectively using impressive foot skills.

U12 GIRLS-Dragonfire
Dragonfire fell to Warwick Extreme 2-0 today. Despite the aggressive push by Hailey Lindenberger, Caroline Staudle and Kelly Gleason, the girls did not tally a goal today against Warwick. Megan Gagnon was rejected on a penalty kick and two out of nine got away from goalie Cathy Eliason. Alex Jurgens, Erin Hussey and Laura Craig scrambled on defense to keep Warwick away from the net through out the game to no avail.

U13 BOYS

The Cobras went to New Paltz with an attack mindset and kept the pressure on all game and defeated New Paltz 2-0. Jake Ross was the finisher on both goals and played a fine game overall. The continued strong play of defenders Edmond Myers, Abe Silfen, Eddie Flores, and Eric Braun allowed for particularly strong attack from the midfield. Joe Valle and Eduardo Mejia consistently found the seams for through balls and Jordan Goldenberg had several chances to keep the Lightning defense back on their heels.

U14 GIRLS
The Sabres celebrated Mother's Day with a dominating performance over the Goshen Explosion winning 6-0. Celina Carrero opened the scoring with a hard fought unassisted goal. Alejandara Cordero's two corner kicks led to the next goals, one from Tiffany Herrera and the latter from Melissa Mariani. Andrea Mancuso’s blast from the 18 extended the lead to 3-0. Kayla Brewer ended the scoring in the first half with a nifty shot inside the left post as time expired. Kristen Condosta’s play on defense helped Gabby Chamberland land her third consecutive shutout. Carly Tice finished the scoring for the afternoon with an unassisted goal.

U18 BOYS
