General News: Village Attorney Submits Comments on Master Plan
April 13, 2007
On the eve of a public hearing to discuss the Master Plan Committee’s proposals, the attorney for the village of Cornwall-on-Hudson is offering up his comments on the master plan. Most of the comments target the plan’s proposals for zoning changes and its recommendations to increase lot size.
Attorney Howard Protter says that he has raised issues to the committee throughout its planning process and that some of his recommendations were included and others were not.
Protter also said that Mayor Joe Gross has asked him to distribute the comments to help inform the public before Saturday’s meeting. Master Plan Committee chair Lee Murphy received them Thursday and passed them on for the public to read "hot off the press."
