General News: Tax Assistance for Seniors

Free tax assistance for senior citizens will be offered beginning today under a program offered through the Orange County Office of the Aging.
Cornwall residents who are eligible may call 534-3178 to schedule an appointment. The service will be provided at Munger Cottage in Cornwall. The tax assistors are volunteers who are trained and certified by the Internal Revenue Service after rigorous testing.
Tax aid assistance is limited to preparation of basic, individual income tax forms.
