Holiday music was in the air at Barnes & Noble's bookstore in Newburgh on Monday evening when members of the Cornwall Central Middle School Chorus and Jazz Combo performed for shoppers.
In what has become a yearly event, the students presented holiday songs while parents from the PTO offered to wrap gifts in a program that saw a percentage of sales donated to the school organization.
The chorus sang under the direction of music teacher Valerie Ransbottom. Bandleader Steve Kessler directed the jazz combo, which also featured solo vocals by Sage Kirwan.
