Helen Ruth Lark, 97, the former owner of the Canterbury Inn in Cornwall, died on November 16, 2007.
Lark, who was a life-long resident of the area, ran the popular restaurant with her husband, Harry Francis Lark, who predeceased her.
Mrs. Lark was born in Fort Montgomery, New York, on November 8, 1910, the daughter of Louis M. Rose and Sarah Cronk Rose.
She is survived by sons William Lark and his wife, Georgina, of New Windsor, and Harry Lark, of Newport, N.C.; daughter Ruth Morton, of Cornwall, N.Y.; grandchildren William, Richard, and Jeffrey Lark: and great-grandchildren Victoria, Stephanie, Adam, Jonathan and Jason Lark.
She was predeceased by her sisters, Georgia and Percile, and two brothers, George and Louis Rose.
There will be no visitation. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, New Windsor, N.Y.
