General News: Girls Varsity Soccer Team Wins

The girls varsity soccer team defeated O'Neill 3 to 2 on Friday, bringing their league record to 2-1.
The Lady Dragons scored three goals in the second half to rally past O'Neill, which had scored two goals in the first half.
Kaitlyn Sharo scored the first goal on a penalty kick and soon after added her second goal of the contest to tie the game.
Ann Marie Rizzi celebrated her return to the line up by scoring the game winner. The winning goal was set up by a beautiful cross from Noelle Poindexter to Keetah Koutouan to Rizzi who put the ball in goal.
Carina Luck was in goal and recorded seven saves. The game also marked the return of Tara Mancini who was out with a foot injury. Jillian Kelly played well for the Lady Dragons on defense.
