Obituaries: Margaret M. de Simone

Margaret M. de Simone, of New Windsor, NY entered into eternal rest on November 20th at St. Luke's Hospital after a prolonged illness. She was 75 years old.
The daughter of Karl and Katherine Hindinger Hanft of Richmond Hill, NY, Margaret was born on October 18, 1939 in New York, NY.
She was a graduate of the Mary Louis Academy in Jamaica, NY and attended the Miseracordia School of Nursing in the Bronx, NY.
She was an active member of St. Mary's Parish in Washingtonville, NY.
She is survived by her daughter, Suzanne M. de Simone of New Windsor, NY; her son, Christopher M. de Simone of Staten Island, NY and brother, Karl Hanft of New Fairfield, CT. She was predeceased by her husband, Maj. Frank M. de Simone, U.S. Army.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, November 23rd at Quigley Bros. Funeral Home, 337 Hudson St., Cornwall-On-Hudson NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, November 24th at St. Mary's Church, 42 Goshen Ave., Washingtonville, NY; Fr. Paul Dmoch will officiate. Burial will follow the Mass at Woodlawn Cemetery, 93 Union Ave., New Windsor, NY.
