Barbara Little Perry died Tuesday, September 30, 2014 following a brief illness. She was born March 30, 1940, the first child of Frank and Doris Little of Fredonia. She graduated with the class of 1958 from Fredonia High School, received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio, in January, 1962, and was awarded a Masters degree at SUNY Fredonia in 1968.
Barbara had a lengthy career teaching English in middle and high schools in the Cornwall Central School District, she served as a docent/guide at the Storm King Art Center in New Windsor, New York, and volunteered for over 20 years with Planned Parenthood of the Mid Hudson Valley .
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis E. Perry, in March, 2004. She is survived by her stepson, Dennis Perry and his wife Carrie of Yakima, Washington, and their son, Gilbert, and her stepson,Craig Perry and his wife Coleen of Highland, New York, and their children, Selena and Aidan, . She is also survived by her brothers, Michael Little and his wife Sheryl of York, Maine, and Douglas Little and wife Debbie, of Charlottesville, Virginia, along with numerous cousins, nephews, and a niece."
A memorial service will be held from 1-4 on Saturday October 11th at her home, 5 Tilford Place Cornwall, NY.
