Kenneth W. Craig, 84, passed away on September 6, 2014. He was born on March 26, 1930 in Salisbury Mills, NY to Alfred and Ethel (Clark) Craig. He was a long time resident of New Windsor, NY.
Ken joined the Air Force in 1948. While stationed in Germany he met his future wife, Theresia Rasch. They were married on May 31st, 1953 and spent the next twenty-two years traveling with his military assignments. After his retirement as a Chief Master Sergeant in 1970 he worked for the Town of New Windsor Water Department. After retiring from that job he went to work at WalMart as a door greeter, a job he very much enjoyed. Ken loved his family, all animals, reading and watching football.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Theresia Rasch Craig; one daughter, Sandra Kirwan and her husband, Larry of Cornwall, NY; grandchildren, Joseph Kirwan and his wife, Erin of Milford, PA and Jessica Swain and her husband, Patrick of Cazenovia, NY; two great grandchildren, Emma and Aubrey Kirwan. Ken was predeceased by his brother, Alfred Craig. Ken also had a very special relationship with his nephew, Glenn Craig and his wife, Leonore, whom he loved like a son.
There will be a private Celebration of Life held at the convenience of the family.
