James E. Manley, of Cornwall, New York entered into eternal rest on July 3, 2014 at St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital. He was 77 years old.
The son of James V. Manley and Veronica Shaw Manley, James E. Manley was born on September 30, 1936 in New York, NY.
James was a 1954 Graduate of Chelsea Vocational High School in New York City. He retired from the New York State Thruway Authority in 1995.
Jim enjoyed the simple things in life which included his love of family and friends. In his celebration of life he exemplified the belief you should love thy neighbor as you would love thyself. He will be missed greatly.
James E. Manley is survived by his wife of 57 years, Lillian Manley and daughter, Angela Manley of Lower Salem, OH, and son, James E. Manley, Jr. who resides in the Town of Newburgh.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, July 10th at Quigley Bros. Funeral Home, 337 Hudson Street, Cornwall-On-Hudson, NY 12520. A Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, July 11th at the funeral home. Internment will follow immediately thereafter at Cedar Hill Cemetery, located in the Town of Newburgh.
