Obituaries: Joan P. Morris

 Joan P. Morris , of New Windsor NY, entered into eternal rest on May 4, 2014 at St. Lukes Cornwall Hospital, Newburgh NY. She was 85 years old. The daughter of John Wardell and Marie Daniels, Joan Morris was born on April 12, 1929 in Queens, NY.

Joan P. Morris was a Office Manager for Revlon Company, Tarrytown, NY. She was an active member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, New Windsor NY. A family statement reads: "Joan was a loving mother and grandmother who will be missed greatly."

Joan is survived by her Son, William J. Morris, New Windsor, NY; Her daughters: Nancy A. Cambraeri of Pine Bush, NY and Ellen Nespola of Derby, CT; Grandchildren: Christina Caron, Christopher and Timothy Morris, Lauren Morris, Maria Constance and Bernadette Joan Cambareri; Great-grandchildren: Samantha and Emily Caron, Matthew and Samwise Morris. She was predeceased by a sister, Ethel Jacob.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at Quigley Bros. Funeral Home, 337 Hudson Street, Cornwall-On-Hudson, NY 12520. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 8, 2014 at St. Joseph's Church, Rte. 9W & Union Ave., New Windsor, NY. Fr. Dennis Dinan will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Francis Cemetery, Mt. Kisco, NY.
