Janet M. Yeoman of Cornwall entered into eternal rest on April 5, 2014 at St. Lukes Cornwall Hospital-Newburgh NY. She was 75 years old.
The daughter of Edwin Swenson and Corabelle Thompkins, she was born on November 11, 1938 in Cornwall, NY.
Janet was a retired from Electronic Tabulation Co. in Newburgh, NY.
She was an active in hand made crafts.
A family statement reads: "Janet loved family and her grandchildren. She loved making crafts and camping in the great outdoors. Mom will be dearly missed by her family and loved ones."
Janet is survived by her husband of 53 years, Wesley R. Yeoman, at home; her children, sons: William R. Yeoman and his wife, Marta, Wayne E. Yeoman and his wife, Miriam, both of Cornwall NY; her daughter, Cynthia D. Overton and her husband, William of Wallkill NY; her twin sister, Joyce Bruyn of Florida; sisters: Carol Rosier of Florida and Ruthie Rolfe of North Carolina; grandchildren: Joshua and Ashley Yeoman, David and Nicholas Robinson, Brandyn and Anna Yeoman, Nicholas Angel, Tiara and Corey Overton.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, April 8th at Quigley Bros. Funeral Home, 337 Hudson St., Cornwall, NY 12520. Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, April 9th at the funeral home. Burial will take place following the service in Woodlawn Cemetery, New Windsor NY.
