Robert W. Donaldson, resident of New Windsor, NY and a retired electrician with General Motors in Tarrytown, NY died on February 13, 2014 in Somers NY. He was 68.
Son of William Donaldson and Bernice Whitten Donaldson, Robert was born on June 1, 1945 in Yonkers NY. He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force in 1963.
He loved hunting, fishing and his NY Giants.
Survivors include his son, Robert W. Donaldson Jr. and his wife, Stacia of Highland, NY and a daughter, Laura Donaldson Woods and her husband, Peter of New Windsor; grandchildren: Lorelei and Robert W. Donaldson, Abigail and Colin Woods; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Monday, February 17th at Quigley Bros. Funeral Home, 337 Hudson St., Cornwall-On-Hudson, NY 12520. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, February 18th at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, New Windsor, NY.
