William F. Hallas of New Windsor NY died at home on Friday, January 17, 2014. He was 75. Mr. Hallas was a retired Police Officer with the NYC Housing Authority Police in the Bronx.
Son of Frederick E. Hallas and Blodwen Daniels Hallas, he was born on April 2, 1938 in Bronx, NY.
Survivors include his son, William F. Hallas Jr. and his wife, Anastasia of New Windsor NY; step-daughters, Janet Jackson and Sherry Belfiore, both of Florida; and his grandchildren: Grace, William and Matthew Hallas.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Monday January 20th at Quigley Bros. Funeral Home, 337 Hudson St., Cornwall-On-Hudson, NY 12520. A Funeral Service will be private for the family on Tuesday, January 21st at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Newburgh, NY.
