Peter J. McManus, a retired Results Technician with Orange & Rockland Utilities of Haverstraw, NY, and a resident of New Windsor, NY passed away at Orange Regional Medical Center in Wallkill, NY on Thursday, January 16, 2014. He was 67 years old.
Son of Bernard McManus and Nora Harrigan McManus, he was born on December 7, 1946 in the Bronx, NY. He served proudly in the U.S. Navy during 1964-1967.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy DiGiugno McManus, at home; son, Peter J. McManus Jr. and his wife, Lori Ann of Washingtonville, NY; daughter, Michelle M. McManus Losgar and her husband, Philip of Orange Lake; grandchildren: Ashley McManus, Colin and Morghain Losgar; brothers: Bernard McManus and his wife, Juneann of Washington Township, NJ and Daniel McManus and his wife, Gail of Monroe, NY; sisters: Noreen Ferrigno and husband, Thomas of Selden, NY and Nancy Mazza and husband, Salvatore of Maybrook, NY.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, January 23rd at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 9W and Union Ave., New Windsor NY; Fr. Dennis Dinan will officiate.
