Janet Mary McCauley, age 89, of Cornwall, NY passed away on January 3, 2014 at St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital in Newburgh NY.
The daughter of James Mead and Effie Decker Mead, she was born on January 13, 1924 in Cornwall NY.
She was a retired clerk with Clarks Pharmacy in Newburgh, NY. She was also a representative for Avon, Stanley Home products and Tupperware.
Survivors include: her son, Walter McCaule of Cornwall; brother, James Mead; sisters: Mona Lisa Mead of Town of Newburgh and Gertrude Curtis of Walden. She was predeceased by her son, John (Jack) McCauley; daughter, Janet Slack and brother, Gordon Mead; sister, Helen Mead.
There will be no public visitation and the funeral will be private.
