Susan E. Schauwecker of Cornwall-On-Hudson, NY passed away on Wednesday, January 1, 2014 at St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital, Cornwall NY. She was 55.
Susan was a Medical Coder with Castle Point Veteran's Hospital.
Daughter of Jules Barki and Marcia Steadman Barki, she was born October 22, 1958 in Cornwall NY.
Survivors include daughters: Jennifer Salvucci of New Windsor, NY and Erica Schauwecker of Marlboro, NY; her father, Jules Barki of New Windsor NY; brother, Michael Barki and his wife, Carolyn of Connecticut; sisters: Diane Humphrey and husband, Harvey of Wisconsin and Jeanne Bozich and husband, Martin of Salisbury Mills, NY; grandchild, Gabriella Salvucci; nieces and nephews: Joshua Humphrey, Jackie, Matthew and Stephen Bozich, Kenneth and Olivia Barki. She was predeceased by her mother Marcia Barki.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. on Monday, January 6th at Quigley Bros. Funeral Home, 337 Hudson St., Cornwall-On-Hudson, NY 12520. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, January 7th at St. Francis Church on Benkard Ave. in Newburgh NY . Creamtion will follow the Mass.
