Mary C. Edgar of Cornwall, NY passed away on January 2, 2014 at St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital in Newburgh, NY. She was President of Edgar Apparel in Cornwall and Vails Gate, NY.
She was born on October 9, 1919 in Jersey City, NJ to Victor Nannini and Teresa Buchignani.
Survivors include her son, George J. Edgar and his wife, Diana of Cornwall-On-Hudson, NY; daughter, Diane M. Koch and her husband, Fred of Haymarket VA; brother, Louis Nannini of Long Island, NY; grandchildren: Craig Koch, Dawn Andre and husband, Douglas, Bryan Edgar, and wife, Kimberly, Jason Edgar and his wife, April; great grandchildren, Isabella and Andrew Koch, Ashley and Tyler Andre, Jack and Chase, Lilly Edgar.
A family statement states "Mom truly enjoyed her family, friends, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was the most beautiful mother and great Nannie. She will be truly missed by all who knew her. The family would like to thank all the nurses and staff and Activities Department at Wingate Beacon for their compassionate care and treatment they gave to Mom.
Visitation will be held privately at Quigley Bros. Funeral Home, 337 Hudson St., Cornwall-On-Hudson, NY 12520. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Monday at St. Thomas of Canterbury Church, 340 Hudson St., Cornwall-On-Hudson, NY. Burial is to follow in St. Thomas Cemetery, Cornwall, NY.
