Mary Ann Todd, a lifelong resident of the area, passed away Thursday, December 19, 2013 at her home in Cornwall, NY. Daughter of the late Harold and Lucille Iannone Brophy, she was born March 10, 1930 in Newburgh, NY. Mary Ann is the widow of James M. Todd. She was a member of St. Patrick's Church of Highland Mills, a member of Rosary Altar Society, a member of Cornwall Yacht Club and a member of Women of Woodbury.
Survivors include her daughter, Tamara A. Romine and her husband, Ed of Mountainville, NY; and her three grandchildren, Braden Romine, Lauren Romine and Mackenzie Todd. Mary Ann was predeceased by her son, Dean P. Todd.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, December 22, at Smith, Seaman & Quackenbush, Inc. Funeral Home, 117 Maple Avenue, Monroe. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Monday, December 23 at St. Patrick's Church, 448 Route 32, Highland Mills, NY. Interment will follow in the Cemetery of the Highlands, Route 32, Highland Mills, NY.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Patrick's Church of Highland Mills or Cornwall Volunteer Ambulance Corps, 1 Clinton Street, Cornwall, NY 12518.
