Jean Ferreri, a homemaker from Highland NY, formerly of Cornwall NY, passed away November 13, 2013 at Wingate at Ulster. She was 94 years old.
She was born in Brooklyn, NY on September 20, 1919, the daughter of the late Donato DeMartino and Mary Giordano. She was married to the late Frank Ferreri.
Survivors include her daughter, Lillian Ferreri of New Windsor NY; brothers, Anthony and Mario DeMartino; grandchildren, Jessica Gentile and Robert Gentile and Michael Lopez; great grandchildren, Jorge and Antonio Perez; nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by sisters and brothers, Emily, Louise, Evelyn, Leonard , Joseph and John.
There will be no public visitation.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, November 29, 2013 at St. Thomas of Canterbury Church, 340 Hudson St., Cornwall-On-Hudson, NY 12520. Burial to follow in St. Thomas Cemetery, Cornwall, NY.

Mrs. Ferreri was a lovely and gracious lady. I will always remember the lovely italian dinners she would prepare every night for her family. I was very fortunate to have been Melanie's friend as a child and Melanie often invited me for dinner. To me these dinners were special events. As was Mrs. Ferreri - she was very special. God Bless, Mrs. Ferreri who is with her beloved husband now.
