Isabella G. Jones of Salisbury Mills, NY, formerly of Bloomfield, NJ, entered into Eternal rest on Saturday, November 16, 2013. She was 87.
The daughter of the late John and Christine Curry Greer, she was born on January 16, 1926 in Montclair, NJ.
Isabella retired to Cornwall after a long career in banking. She was an active member of the Cornwall Presbyterian Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend and will be deeply missed.
Survivors include her beloved husband Albert, at home; daughter Barbara Piascik and husband Joe; grandchildren: Albert and wife Kevyn, Joseph and wife Melody, Christine, John and fiancée Christie, and Luke; sister-in-law, Alice Davis, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Christine Lynch.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 21, from 7-9pm at James F. Lulves Funeral Home, 9 Avenue A, Cornwall-on-Hudson, NY. Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 22 at 10am at the Cornwall Presbyterian Church, 222 Hudson St., Cornwall-on-Hudson, NY. Interment is private and at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Isabella’s memory may be made to Cornwall Presbyterian Church, 222 Hudson St., Cornwall-on-Hudson, NY 12520.
