Edith (Edie) Mellino of Salisbury Mills, NY passed away November 11, 2013 at home. She was 69 years old. Born July 23, 1944 in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of Joseph Noble and Margaret Brennan Noble. She was married to Anthony Mellino at home who survives her.
Edith was a retired secretary with West Islip Public Schools in West Islip, NY.
Survivors include her husband, Anthony at home; sons, Anthony Mellino and his wife, Michelle of Cornwall, NY, and Brad Mellino of Huntington, NY; brother, Joseph Noble of Havelock, NC; sisters, Margaret Santomartino of Bayshore, NY, Patricia Reuter of Coram, NY and Geraldine Martocci of Springfield, VA; grandchildren, Ryan and Hannah Mellino.
Visitation will be held 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, November 14, 2013 at Quigley Bros. Funeral Home, 337 Hudson St., Cornwall-on-Hudson, NY 12520.
