William E. Steidle, Jr. of New Windsor, NY entered into rest on Sunday, November 3, 2013. He was 66.
The son of the late William E. and Claire Steidle, he was born on May 12, 1947 in Bronx, NY.
Bill served in the US Army. He was an Environmental Analyst for the NYS Department of Conservation and the owner of Pine View Farm in New Windsor, a local Christmas tree farm.
Survivors include: his wife Margaret, at home; sons: Michael Steidle, Charles Steidle and wife Rosa, and William Steidle; daughter Beth Steidle; grandchildren: Eli Stone and Luna Steidle; sister Noel Buttner and husband George of Albany, GA. He was predeceased by his brother Glenn Steidle.
The family will receive visitors on Sunday, November 10 from 2-4pm at James F. Lulves Funeral Home, 9 Avenue A, Cornwall-on-Hudson, NY.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Bill’s memory may be made to Orange County Land Trust, 23 White Oak Drive, P.O. Box 269, Sugar Loaf, NY 10981.
