Joseph Olgin, of New Windsor, NY and formerly of Westbury, NY passed away on October 26, 2013 at home. He was 82 years old.
Joseph was a retired lineman with Con Edison of NY, NY. He was born in NY, NY on February 9, 1931 to Joseph Olgin and Mary Mundo Olgin. He was married to Gloria Gonzalez Olgin.
Survivors include his wife, Gloria Gonzalez Olgin, at home; sons: Gary Olgin of Lyons, NY and Ron Olgin of Florida, and daughter, Lisa Olgin Castelan of Newburgh, NY; grandchildren: Shayna, Joseph, Andrew, Christina, Elizabeth, Jaclyn and Frank Olgin, Broderick and Ananda Francis; also two great grandchildren: Arianna and Aleena DeJesus.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, October 29th at Quigley Bros. Funeral Home, 337 Hudson St., Cornwall-on-Hudson, NY 12520. Funeral Service is at 9:45 a.m. on Wednesday October 30th. Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Brigid's Church, 75 Post Ave., Westbury, NY Burial is to follow in Pinelawn Cemetery, Famingdale, NY.
