Michael F. McGuire, 60, of New Windsor, NY, a Terminal Engineer with Metro North in New York City, NY, died Sun, October 13, 2013, at home. He was the son of Edward McGuire and Joan McDermott, and he was married to Anne Hurley McGuire.
Survivors include his wife, Anne P. Hurley McGuire, at home; his mother, Joan McDermott McGuire; his son, Sean McGuire and his wife, Louise of Washington, DC; his daughters: Keara McGuire of New Windsor, NY and Kelly McGuire of New York City, NY; brothers: Mark and his wife, Mary, Steve and his wife Mellanie, and Eddie and his wife, Suchin McGuire; sister, Patty Simmons and her husband, Paul; his stepmother, Sally McGuire. He was predeceased by a son, Conor Michael McGuire.
He was a Graduate of USMA at West Point Class 1976.
Visitation will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, October 16th at Quigley Bros. Funeral Home, 337 Hudson St., Cornwall-on-Hudson, NY 12520. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, October 17th at St. Thomas of Canterbury Church, 340 Hudson St., Cornwall-on-Hudson, NY 12520. Burial will follow in St. Bonaventure Cemetery, Allegany, NY, with Military Honors.
