Margaret E. (Peggy) Straub, 89, a homemaker, of New Britain, CT died Monday, September 23, 2013 at Aurora Senior Living Center, New Britain, CT.
She was born April 12, 1924 in Bronx, NY to Francis McNulty and Margaret (Heppenheimer) McNulty.
She was the widow of Alexander Straub.
She was a member of Catholic Daughters, and TOPS.
Survivors include three daughters: Margaret A. Straub of New Britain, CT, Wanda (Mrs. Joseph) Riter of Suffolk, VA, Elizabeth (Mrs. Jeffery) Pulawski of Fort Wayne, IN; six grandchildren: Matthew Straub of New Britain, CT, Ryan (Serenity) Pulawski of Fort Wayne, IN, John Riter of Rutland, VT, Daniel Riter of Austin, TX, Kelly (David) Waterhouse of Rutland, VT, and Mary Pulawski of Kendallville, IN; three great-grandchildren: Isaac and Elijah Pulawski of Fort Wayne, IN, Chloe Waterhouse of Rutland, VT; one brother, F. Thomas McNulty of North Brunswick, NJ; several loving nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters: Catherine and Georgiana McNulty.
There will be no Visitation. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, September 27th at 10 a.m. at St. Thomas of Canterbury Catholic Church, Hudson Street, Cornwall-on-Hudson, NY 12520. Burial will be at St. Thomas' Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Thomas of Canterbury Sanctuary Fund or a charity of the donor's choice.
