Diane M. Leslie (Bockis) of Laurel, MD, formerly of Cornwall-on-Hudson, entered into rest on Wednesday, May 22, 2013. She was 57.
The daughter of the late Edward and Jean Bockis, she was born on October 15, 1955 in Cornwall, NY.
Diane served in the US Army from 1973-1976. She retired from the USDA on December 31, 2011. She also volunteered at the Rude Ranch Animal Rescue.
Survivors include many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by her sister, Beverly Bockis.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, June 7, 2013 from 6-8pm at James F. Lulves Funeral Home, 9 Avenue A, Cornwall-on-Hudson, NY.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Diane’s memory may be made to Hospice of Chesapeake, 445 Defense Hwy., Annapolis, MD 21401; ALS Association-DC/MD/VA Chapter, 7507 Standish Place, Rockville, MD 20855 or Rude Ranch Animal Rescue, 3200 Ivy Way, Harwood, MD 20776.
