Each day she showed us a faith and devotion to Jesus second to none, honored her marriage vows for nearly 48 years, nurtured and loved her children and grandchildren right to the end, was a captivating story teller, touched every person she met with a contagious smile or kind word, displayed incredible strength and courage all through her years of battling cancer, heart attacks and declining health and remained selfless in her care and compassion toward others.

She will be dearly missed, and yet we know that if we can make even the smallest part of her spirit, a part of us in our lives going forward, it will be the very best part."
