Arrests
04/08/13Sean P Zotter, age 21, of Monroe, Ny was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of marijuana.
04/09/13 Khrystal S Jimenez, age 19, of Highland Falls, NY was arrested on a bench warrant.
04/10/13 Dael L Aybar Hernandez, age 21, of Newburgh, NY was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of marijuana.
A 42 yr old male from Newburgh Ny was charged with a suspended registration.
Zachary Hilderbrandt, age 21, of West Point, NY was arrested and charged with criminal mischief and unauthorized use of a vehicle.
Incidents
04/08/13 A badly injured deer was found in the roadway on Otterkill and Clove Rd and discharged.
10:38 am Police respond to a 2 car accident on Rt. 32 with property damage.
11:54 am Police respond to a 2 car accident on Quaker Ave. in the parking lot with property damage.
12:56 pm Police advise a resident on Tara Dr. that was burning brush to extinguish, there is a burn ban until May 16th.
1:42 pm A pit bull running loose on Willow Ave. was turned in to Animal Control.
04/09/13 Police respond to to Main St. for a 2 car accident with minor damage.
4:34 pm Police take report of identity theft, a complainant’s checking account was compromised.
04/10/13 While conducting a post check an officer observed damaged vehicles in the area of Main St. and Monument Ave. and a vehicle with the letters SWN written in mustard on the hood of a vehicle.
04/10/13 Police take a report from a resident stating that his generator was taken from his residence on Deer Hill Rd.
04/11/13 Police respond to Quaker Ave. for a 2 car accident, no injuries.
04/12/13 A caller report to Police that an unwanted package arrived at her door from FedEX containing a credit card in her name. The complainant stated that an “acquaintance” from Malaysia asked her to buy things for him with the card. Police advised the complainant that this is a scam.
04/12/13 A complainant came into the station to file a report in reference to a tax return being filed in his name and social security by another individual. A complaint was filed with the IRS.
04/12/13 Chief Hines called from the FD to report an out of town taxi behind the CFD with a subject locked in the vehicle refusing to pay a fare to the Maplehurst. The driver refused to pursue charges.
04/13/13 Police, CFD and COVAc dispatched to 9W north for a car in the woods, driver fell asleep and struck the embankment
04/13/13 Several traffic warnings and tickets were issued to drivers around Quaker Ave, Rt32 and 9W
