Obituaries: Kathleen (Kathy) M. (Spina) Bowman

Kathleen "Kathy" M. (Spina) Bowman, of Cornwall, a lifetime resident of the area, entered into rest on Friday, April 12, 2013 in Newburgh. She was 45.
Daughter of Joseph A. and Linda R. (McCleary) Spina, she was born May 20, 1967 in Newburgh. She married Stephen M. Bowman in Sacred Heart Church in Newburgh on April 21, 1995.
Kathy was a 1985 graduate of Cornwall High School, and worked as an Administrative Assistant for BIC Corporation for 10 years, UPS Freight for two years, and Emmi Roth for one year. Kathy loved having the sun on her face and her feet in the sand. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend. Kathy always put her family first, and loved reading, cooking, the outdoors, and the beach, among many other things. "You will be greatly missed, but forever in our hearts".
Survivors include her husband, Stephen M. Bowman, at home; her daughters: Stephanie Bowman of Cornwall and Nicole Decker and her husband, Brian of Marlboro; her parents, Joseph and Linda Spina; her sisters: her twin, Carol Spina of Cornwall, and Karin Stambaugh and her husband, Darryl of Cornwall-on-Hudson; and several nieces and nephews. Kathy was predeceased by her uncle, John McCleary.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 16th at Brooks Funeral Home, 481 Gidney Ave., Newburgh, NY 12550.
