John R. Keegan, 73, of Huntsville, AL died at his home Saturday, March 23.
John is survived by his wife of 37 years, Marcia; his loving daughter, Jennifer and nieces, nephews and extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents, John J. and Ethel (Connolly) Keegan of Cornwall, NY; brother, Michael and sister-in-law, Mary Keegan of Cornwall, NY.
John was a graduate of Cornwall Central High School class of 1957. He was a Navy veteran and a graduate of the University of South FL. He worked in the aerospace industry for 30 years. John worked on the International Space Station's life support System. He was an avid runner who competed in several marathons and triathlons earning various medals and awards in his age group over the years.
A private memorial will be held in St. Pete Beach, FL at a later date.
Arrangements were entrusted to Berryhill Funeral Home, 2305 North Memorial Parkway, Huntsville, AL 35810.
