March 21, 2013
Lee Allison of New Windsor, formerly of Cornwall-on-Hudson, entered into eternal rest on Friday, March 15, 2013 at Campbell Hall Rehabilitation Center with her family at her bedside. She was 92 and had battled Alzheimer’s for the past six years.
The daughter of Charles and Mary Graziani, she was born on June 28, 1920 in the Bronx, NY.
Lee is survived by her son Frank and his wife Nancy; granddaughters: Alaina and Carissa and her husband Andreas Radermacher and their children, Lee’s great-grandchildren, Jake and Brooke; her brother Frank Graziani; sisters: Anna Perrone and Mary Solla and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Edward and his wife Jessie; sister-in-law Edith Graziani and brothers-in-law Manny Perrone and Charles Solla.
Lee was a wonderful and loving mother who was always active and health conscious, so much so that her granddaughter Alaina gave her the nickname
Grandma Health.
She enjoyed life’s simple pleasures, such as driving, walking, shopping, sewing (she could alter or repair just about anything), and last but not least, she loved Fox News. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family during all of the holidays and special occasions.
Lee’s family would like to extend a special thank you to all of the nurses, aides and doctors at Campbell Hall who always treated her with dignity and respect.
There will be no visitation. Services are private and at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements are under the direction of James F. Lulves Funeral Home, 9 Avenue A, Cornwall-on-Hudson, NY (845)534-2550. To send condolences please visit www.lulvesfuneralhome.com
